I have been PM'ing Dutch944 back and forth. I asked if he could how many bumpers he could get.

My plan would be to get a deposit from people in the USA to order a Euro bumper. Have all the bumpers shipped to my location(Kansas City, MO) and from here I could ship them wherever in the USA. I think it will save on shipping if we could do maybe 5-6 bumpers(possibly more). I know that 1 bumper to ship from Netherlands is around $275 US dollars. All the money would be handled by Paypal. It is the only secure service I know that will convert money for you and only charge a 3% fee.

Would anyone object to this? If you are interested please PM with your email address to get this "group buy" started.

Jeff

@MAGK944, i'm sorry but i'll definately not be using van zweeden.. They are way to expensive and are not way as kind as the people i do "business" with. I'm sorry if i have offended you by this!

@Jeff, maybe it's an idea to check if there are more items from here to be shipped to the US, like the rear bridge spoiler or the other things MAGK944 mentioned. Most of the things are pretty easy for me to come by (except for the rear battery mount, haven't even seen it before!!)

I would be interested in the rear bridge spoiler depending upon total price. My hatch is in need of a major overhaul, I'd replace it if I could find one within 300 miles but living in the middle of Wyoming doesn't help.

I don't know about getting bridge spoilers on this type of deal. If they have them in the Netherlands and they are cheap we could look into it. I would like one myself. All the ones I have seen were from the UK though. The UK guys will ship worldwide. I could possibly see if I could get a group buy started with that.

For now I think just doing the euro bumpers would be it.

Again, depending on price, I may be in. Let us know a price when you get things worked out.

No. The 944 unit is too wide.

The Euro 924 bumper does get rid of the rubber extensions.

However, as I stated before, I would recommend the normal U.S. one for added impact protection.

Take care!

We've got our own fibreglass company in the Netherlands and they make every 944 part available, just have to check on the pricing. If any of you guys want the bridge spoiler, is it the standard bridge spoiler or the 968 turbo rs spoiler, the adjustable spoiler to be precize?!

Yep. Like the one that came on S2's and Turbo's in '90 and '91, and then on 968's. Just to be absolutely clear though, I would need the two side and one center trim piece as well.

Yes that is absolutely clear. I went with the adjustable 968 turbo rs spoiler just because i like it better. I'll start calling my previous employer today about the shipping options and i'll keep you guys updated!

You are awesome. I hope this pans out.

So we may be able to get 968 spoilers as well as Euro Bumpers. Does everyone know the difference between the NA and Turbo Euro bumpers? the NA bumpers have a smaller black strip while the turbo bumper has a thicker strip as well as a provision for a tow hook on the rear.

There is no other difference between the two bumpers. You get convert a N/A bumper to the turbo bumper by just drilling a hole in the bumper.

I'll just give a call about the rear spoiler right now and update you on pricing.
