Post Mass Air Flow sensor question

I understand our 951's use a flapper door style air flow sensor. Doest the 968 also use this same set-up or did they change to the hot wire mass air flow style? If so how does this differ from the Autothority/Huntley style kits?

I would bypass the mass air-flow upgrade altogether and go straight to speed-density MAP sensors and an aftermarket EFI system. Such as:

<a href="http://www.mrgasket.com/accel.htm" target="_blank">http://www.mrgasket.com/accel.htm</a>
<a href="http://www.emi.cc" target="_blank">http://www.emi.cc</a>
<a href="http://www.motec.com" target="_blank">http://www.motec.com</a>
<a href="http://www.haltech.com.au" target="_blank">http://www.haltech.com.au</a>

Will end up costing you about the same as MAF upgrade, but will have much, much more power and tuning potential.

The mass-flow sensor has no door. There is no delay in response time(waiting for the door to open) with a mass-flow sensor. We also offer another version of mass-flow.It actually combines a little of both the Huntley and Autothority systems. We also offer a kit that comes with replacement intercoler pipes.Unlike the other kits on the market, you can also get your piping in aluminum instead of 304SS.

As far as stand alone goes.....All of these systems require fabrication to fit onto the 951. They also must be tuned on the dyno. You will also need a new intake pipe and filter, blow-off valve, injectors and a few other things. Add this to the actual cost of the kit and you can quickly see that the price of stand-alone becomes quite expensive. We offer the Electromotive TEC2 and TEC3 along with an installation kit to make it a true bolt-on engine management system. You will also need all the other things I mentioned too.
