Post gt racing vs. getty design quality

Anybody know the quality of fiberglass from gt racing? Specifically hoods. I'm also thinking of the Getty design product, but haven't seen either.

Thanks,

Art

From what I have seen and heard gt racings glass is pretty poor quality. As far as looks and fit go, I would go with Fiberwerks. Also, if you want a vented nose panel go with the speedforceracing guys. Their vented nose panels look good. I think fiberwerks is going to start making 944 hoods here soon.

I wonder if there is a way to graft the rolled vent in the GT Racing panel onto a stock nose panel - I LOVE the factory-looking vent that GT has.

Looks like the PORSCHE FACTORY put it there.

I suppose there is a way to do this? I'm thinking of all the musclecars with hood scoops here...

If you want a factory look for a vented nose panel your best bet would be to get one from a 924 turbo.

Thumbs up

Say those fiberwerks front end kits do look good! Since my original piece was trashed when I ran over a dead deer recently (nothing drives over dead deer like a 944), I have been looking at several replacement options. Hadn't gotten to the fiberworks one before your post, but I think that is probably the one I'm gonna go with. Talked to Carl down there and he says he can have one ready to go w/in about a week. I'll let you know how the kit quality is if I go w/ one of these.
