Default 275 Tire Question

Hey guys I was wondering is there any issues on fitting a 275 wide tire in the rear of our cars? I've got 17x9 ET 15 rims and was looking at either a 255 or 275, don't want to have to roll the quarters or anything. Thanks for your assistance.

For three years now I've been running 225-45ZR -17 front & 255-40ZR-17 rr on my 968 & found it one of the best combo for all around driving.Tires are Falken 452.

On my 17s (17x9 et55 all 4 corners) I run 255/40 up front and 275/40 in the rear. The 275s while they fit/dont rub dont look as good on the wheel IMHO.

I ran early offset 17" 275/40 on 10" and 255/40 on 9" and had no issues except under hard downhill braking at hairpins the fronts would sometimes touch the liners but no metal contact. The rears could even have run a 7mm spacer and still clear. It was a great performance combo and looked even better on a black 951.
