I checked the records. It's a custom job.

The original color was dark red.

The clues that it's a respray are in the engine bay.

It's one of the best color change jobs I have seen. The rest of the engine bay was painted black. Door jams and all other small spots were painted correctly.

I looked over the engine last night. Overall, it's in good shape. Just a cam tower leak.

Price? lol...

You'll have to make a solid ad with some real good descriptions if you want to get your best buck for it. The trick to selling a car is to make someone want it and then make them feel comfortable buying it.

I'd say otherwise just slaughter the thing and get it over with, but the same would apply towards making ads for your parts.

Good points Drift. Thanks

I'm going to work on my 951 over Christmas and think about what to do to the 944.

Cool. Either way, it looks like a cool car and I hope you are happy with whatever choice you make!

Do you still have airbop's black 951? I actually just recently moved to Athens GA, just a couple houses down from his parent's house. Never got to see the car in person but I remember seeing lots of pictures of it on Rennlist! That thing is sweet!

I wish I still had Airbop's 951 I had to sell it. Money got tight after my wife got pregnant and we decided for her to stay home with our child.

It was hands down, the best 951 I ever dove.

I decided to part it. I'll start a new thread soon.

If you want anything, PM me.

That's quite a shame.

Well good luck!
