I love 911s. They are fantastic cars! I am currently starting the process of looking for an '88 or '89 911 in white to go with my 951. That has nothing to do with it.

I don't consider 996 cars to be 911s. They are 996s, and great in their own way. But they aren't 911s anymore, that ended when the water cooling came to the flat 6.

What about the 996 GT3? Its basically 993 engine wrapped with water jackets.
