Would like to have them locally instead of waiting a week for internet order.
(needed for vehicle inspection which I want to do before putting the car away for winter on Dec 15... when legally you have to have winter tires here in Quebec)
Local Porsche dealers are out of stock.
Volvo uses them, their p/n 989806 - local dealers out of stock.
There must be other European cars that use them... VW? Went there without a p/n and they were not able to find a match.
Suggestions?

Try VW part '#4A0-919-040-c bulb'. I took a bulb from my 924S to the local VW dealer and we matched it to that #. They look a little different but work fine. $3.94 ea last year.

you mean the ones in the gauges? they are generic european gauge lights, should be at any parts store..

Thanks for the suggestion... I tried Canadian Tire but had not thought of the local independant parts store... they have an equivalent for less than 4$...
