Default cheap S2 for sale on Craigslist

Not mine, nor any affiliation. Looks like a decent price if legitimate:

"Not interested in trades unless it is something I am exceptionally interested in like a BMG 50 cal."

Best trade offer ever?

In that case I am willing to trade my 87 S for a CA legal pre-ban Barret 50 also.

That's funny.

I actually have a real (non firing display) MG42 with tripod I would trade for an early N/A....I doubt I'll have any takers LOL.

Jeff. That is cool, even a non firing display would be an awesome showpiece. You need a VW thing so you can mount it up and turn it into a technical.

I actually know a guy with not a Thing, but an real Kubelwagen (quite different). I have gone to military vehicle shows with him and set up a display along side his. It is a real WWII German MG42, and the tripod is a post-WWII Bundeswehr (German Army) tripod. They now use the MG42 in NATO caliber as the MG3 - even all these years later.

It is pretty cool!

OK, I'm veering way off topic. I'll stop now.

Jeff
