Curious to know why you're using a flywheel lock when doing the timing belt.

the videos and such said to, although i found later that i could leave the crank pulley on so it wasnt needed. still made me feel better for the first time doing it haha

I put lock on as well. Vans videos rock.

Van "helped" me through my first belt change a few weeks ago. He was then my instructor at a PCA event a few days later. He is the man.
