Cool project!

Also, if you're taking apart the suspension, I would be interested to hear how they got the speedometer to work with the 86 turbo brakes.

Thanks for the heads up. Exactly the kind of info I need. Ill weigh the costs of refurbishing the head I have vs a used 944T head. I can find info on the block, but nothing on what they did to the head. I have emailed Callaway asking for any info they can provide with no response. I wonder if they even have records still.

I'll look into that when I'm under there. Have some suspension work to take care of in the meantime. (Bushings and bearings). The speedometer runs off of the transmission on a turbo right? And early cars has it on the front left hub. Ill try to figure out what the PO did.
