Having fuel vapor smell also. But not at fill up. My smell comes from the outside of the vehicle then begins to stink up cabin. I believe mine to be a faulty O2 sensor, as the smell comes and goes and is more intense at times. Let us know what you find out, there seems to be a few reasons they can smell like fuel

A combination of running rich and a bad hatch seal can contribute to this. As the seal dries out over time, a gap forms at the back of the hatch, and due to the design of the rear wing, some exhaust fumes can get stuck in that area at highway speeds.

Fox:

Could also be a bad wire / connection at coolant temp sensor to intermittently cause your engine to run rich.

If it come from your exhaust and passing by the rear hatch seal try to run with closed windows it will help you a lot.

Did you replace the filler neck to body grommet? you know the giant piece of rubber you see around the filler neck when your filling up? That's a spot where fumes can make it in. Also did you get the lines that go up to the plastic tank in the rear pillar between the hatch and the rear window?

Default vapors

If you look further up in the panel above the filler neck you will find some more hoses a check valve and a volume chamber. Some of those connections may need to be tightened. That flap valve is an overflow lever. It stops the flow like a float if you overfill or with a full tank and corner hard etc. When that flap closes any extra fuel flows through the smaller lines to a reservoir with check valve so it can trickle back into the neck after the over fill or sloshing. You need to pull the vinyl back and there is another flush metal panel with the other crap stuffed in there.
Not sure on this next statement but think its correct:
I think one of those vent lines ends up running to the LT fender to the charcoal canister. So a break in that line may be capable of letting fumes out also.
