Default Dual gauges pod, What do you think?

{edit} I mean "think" not "thing" {edit}

I would like to get your opinions and interest on a little something I’m working on.
In fact, I started working on this last winter and then put it a side because I was to busy with the 924/944 GTS headlight.
I tried to replicate the shape of the factory one below the grill.

If there is enough interest, I could spend some time on this during winter and try to have it ready for next spring.
It would only be available in black and go for around $65 shipped to CAN and US.
This is only a rough estimate and not a confirm price.

Let me know what you thing, beside the little trimming problem I had

Thanks

I would be interested pending the price and level of finish. I've actually been meaning to make one myself but the extra gauge and grille have been collecting dust.

That looks great! If I had an early car, I would be all over it.

Now, get back to work on the Carerra GT buckets for the 951! MUSH! MUSH! (whip cracking in background)

Jeff

I’m taking the day off tomorrow and I will be moulding a set of 951 covers.

What would it take to have one ready by end of the year? I can always just paint it

I still have to work on one of the mould as I’m not 100% happy with the fitment but it’s getting there.
If this come trough, you could order one or both pods uncut, I left one pod uncut to show you what it looks like. This was point out to me by a member.
This way you could mount a manual boost controller, shift light, different size gauge, etc…

I'm getting excited about this. 50-55 seems like the sweet spot but the 65 estimate isn't out of line. I will be watching closely. I've already got the oil temp gauge waiting.

I will offer a lower price if you order both at once and combine shipping

I'm definately considering these. Oil and transmission temps would be my choices.

We can discuss those details when this product is ready for launch.

If I get an early car for my daily driver, you can expect an order from me too

This thing might be ready before spring
I still have some tuning to do on the moulds, but now the bottom of the pod reaches the edge of the opening.
Just to be clear, only the pod will be for sale, gauges will not be included

Thanks

Have you notice the time on the clock?
