It may not be normal, I have seen that happen on other cars, haven't noticed it on my 86 944.
If the pressure is normal above idle I wouldn't worry about it.

Agree that it's not normal for the OP needle to bounce up & down, check your connections on your oil pressure sender. Here is mine idling at 950 RPM with pressure at 3.5 bars & temp a little over the 1/4 mark & it doesn't bounce at all.Btw Eric I can't view the video & you guys have an happy gathering wish you guys good weather will love to be up there with you..

That's perfectly normal. My 83 and 86 do that. There have been many threads about this. The only disagreement is to what causes it.

After not torquing down my front crankshaft bolt to 155ftlbs, my needle would bounce at around 3bar until I had no oil pressure at all :/ As long as you know that bolt isn't loose, I would say it's fine. Low miles, nice!

thanks guys.

I think I found the problem. Idling problem... again.

related to my bov. I've purchase some sfr pipes with an already welded godzilla bov. It was supposed to be in great shape.

but after some tests, I notice that the bov is not completely closed at idle, letting air go in, meaning running a bit rich, meaning a rough idle.

I've opened the bov last night to see how it was done, cleaned it, greased it, now back in the car.

I will give it a try this afternoon. If not better, it's probably the spring inside that is weak, or is just not the right pressure for my car.

So I'm just gonna shim it with some spacers/washers.
