After 11 year of proud ownership, my prized Copenhagen Blue 85.5 944 is going home. The car was owned since new by my best friend. I always told him that if he ever wanted to sell it, I wanted first refusal. Well, that day came in July of 2001 when my friend moved and could not take the car.
It has been lovingly taken care of since then, and finally it is I who must give it up. As a good friend should, I gave him the right of first refusal, and as expected, he wants it back!
So, on October 21, I will make my final journey in my 944 and make the almost 500 mile drive and deliver it to him. Who knows, maybe someday I will get it back again. Sort of fitting that good friends should "share" such a great car.
I have enjoyed my many years on this site. I have learned a lot and wish all of you good luck and sweet drives.

Roger, it was great to meet you a couple years back, and I'm super impressed with how well maintained and kept up your 944 has been. A fine example no doubt. I'm sure your friend will be more than happy with how well the condition of the car has been preserved since he last owned it!
