Yeah somebody really cared about the car once. It would be almost the perfect n/a if it wasn't so nelgected. The interior burned your eyes and lungs when you sat in it. The paint was scratched and faded. The wheels needed to be refinished. The bumper was cracked a little bit.
I sold the fuchs, saratoga top, and some small parts. The bumpers I fixed and painted, they will be going on my car.

Details: The car came with a thick book of service history receipts, but they were all from NAPPA auto parts The interior is 7/10. The exterior is a 6/10. The car came with an extra set of D90 rims for free. While vacuuming it out I found about $10 in change and an unopened bottle of Mike's hard lemonade

Mods: Came with a coffee can muffler (which will be removed), a crappy Pioneer radio, and some sort of aftermarket alarm (which didn't work). I have added a throttle cam, 944MaxHpKit "R" chip, turbo front end, stainless steel braided fuel lines, DashTop plastic dash cover.

A year and a half ago, bought '87 944 NA on ebay from Santa Fe NM, primarily because of the color: Nile Green Metallic (factory color). I didn't trust any of the maintenance records but drove it fearlessly back to Florida. I planned to restore mechanically and cosmetically and keep this one (my third). It had 120k miles, had a minor miss, but as I said, "fearless". Good 3 day road trip and found a huge mouse nest in the air cleaner box when I got home. Been working on the mechanicals ever since and now on to the cosmetic stuff. Paid $4,000.

New BFG G Force Radial tires from Tire Rack
All brakes, rotors, SS lines
All engine seals front and rear
Vacuum lines
Entire Ignition system
Rebuilt injectors (Witch hunter)

A few specialty Porsche tools
Replacement dash (no cracks)

Hours of labor and therapy....no charge

Details: friend knew i was looking for a 944 or 924, passed one out in front of the shop, told me, went and looked, i didn't want a 951(shoulda, no sunroof) he also had 2 8v's for sale, i bought the black one. nothing wrong with it other than sunroof didn't open, fixed before picking up incuded in price
