Default 944 Caliper Font for 944 "PORSCHE" letters

Can anyone help me find the correct font for 944 calipers?
I am working to paint the PORSCHE letters on my calipers.
The fronts have the raised letters so I'll paint those by hand. I'd like to paint the rears on with a stencil (since the caliper is flat there), but I can't find the right font/size to match.

I bought a set off ebay, but they are the more modern font (993+).
The dimensions of the ebay set are 3" x 0.22"
It seems the Porsche font on the 944 era is 3" x 0.375" (taller and thicker font).

Eagle Day, Xenon Mods don't have the correct font to match the raised letters on the fronts.
Is there a source for the correct stencils?

I cannot help you with the font but when I rebuilt my calipers I machined the face letters and lines flat and added a decal with high-temp clear over the top, been 3-years and still look good.

As for the rear mine were not flat but had a raised Brembo logo, I thought they all had that.

There is an "official" Porsche font out there. If you do a google search it should give a couple good places to download.

You can manipulate it to probably match close to the older style.

Why don't you just do a rubbing of the front caliper, cut out the letters, and use that as a stencil for the rears?

Because rubbing one out isn't always the answer

Because if my 'VIN rubbings' are any indication it will look 'not so good'

Thanks for the ideas, guys.

I feel like I've exhausted the existing vendors for caliper decals/stencils:
Rennline
Hookedoncars
EuroPDR
Fast Forward Wheels
Goldline
Eagle Day
Ebay
Xenon Mods

No one seems to have the correct font.
I checked the Porsche font file, but again, it appears to be the modern font.
I think I will wind up finding a high res picture of the original raised front letters (mine are a little rounded from the thick powdercoat) and taking it to a local sign/decal shop. I was hoping for an easier/cheaper solution.

I am really surprised that no one has an existing decal/stencil in the original 80's style. If I'm not mistaken, these calipers were used across the models so it should also impact 964's and 928's.
I guess everyone goes for a different look when they are rebuilding these...

Ok I had some stencils made up. They modified a similar font to make the letters. It looks VERY close if not identical to the stock letters. They now have these letters on file for future reference.
I painted them tonight with red high temp enamel. Will post results after the paint is cured and stencil is removed....

comparison of modern font vs late 80's font

Ok paint has cured, here are the results. I am happy. Used Duplicolor high temp engine paint. The font is perfect, and the paint looks great.
