I had wanted to get the 924S into driving shape so that it could be driven around while I worked on the long term project of turning it into a a 924 GTS tribute, but I had a few things happen that dictated a change of plan. The short version of the story is that I ended up using some parts from the 924S to put the 10 year dormant 951 back on the road.

Hi..I'm currently building a Carrera GT out of my 88 924S, I could use a spare DME..and that painted cam housing and intake look great painted black..my CGT is going to be black so I may be really interested in those other parts..By chance did your 924S have any of the switches in the center console..mirror change over, headlight washer, rear wiper..? I am installing those options on my car and need the wiring from the switches to main harness..or at least be able to see how they connect..thanks Jeff..will send you a pvt msg

my email usairbearphx@yahoo.com

I work for USAirways so I could come and pick up in Charlotte !!! based/live in Phoenix

Mike,

Other than the fender I will work up a cost for the parts and shipping for that stuff once I get it out of the car. I priced the 924 fenders cheap in the hope that someone local will snag them. Shipping such a bulky item isn't something I want to do at this point.

The DME and Pistons both seem to be very hot items, chalk it up to the popularity of spec racing the '44.

Strange request,

Is the dipstick tube the same as the 944's? I have a 87 engine with a broken tab on the dipstick tube and would be willing to purchase.

I think it should be the same tube, and would be happy to send it on to you for just the cost of shipping.

I have an 88 924S that is in decent shape but the wiring harness was hacked apart by the PO while trying to trouble shoot a fried ECU problem. When you get the harness out and have a price PM me I could use a fresh one if the one you have is in good shape.
