Default Winterizing tips for S2 please!

Hey Guys, Would ya'll be able to advise me as to the protocals of putting the S2 away for the winter (Oct. 31st) so that I don't have to worry about ruining my first "really cherished" 944? I've heard so many wive's tales over the years that I don't know whether to start it every week, jack stand it, leave it alone, use fuel system additives or just break it to my wife that it'll be parked where her Royal Doulton display now sits in the living room. My garage is a basic unheated single car unit, so it will be very cold (avg. 0-40 degrees) and damp until April. Any tips from the folks that know?
Thanks!

Put the ethanol sta-bil in the tank. Drive it a bit. Make sure the antifreeze wont freeze. Take out each spark plug and spray some fogging oil in each cylinder, crank it with plug wires off. Spray any bare steel with oil. Remove battery. Air up tires to proper level. Put dryer sheets in passenger compartment to keep mice away. Put steel wool in the exhaust tip for mice also. Windows up visors down.

Put the car outside in an abandonened parking lot. Next to it put a jack and proper tool for removing wheels if anyone wants them. Leave all doors open. Put keys in car and leave radio disconnected and on the passenger seat.

Just put it in a garage and start it up every so often if you'd like. Put all fluids in it, and don't drain the gasoline (unless by chance you have a fuel cell, then drain it).

Yes, sometimes mice like to make nests above the visors.

They love to live up there. Plus if any humidity gets in the car it will mildew there first.
