Default Porsche 944 Hybrid?

Hello everyone. Does anybody know anything about the 944 hybrid listed in Hemmings this month? Seller is asking 12,000, and it seems like it might be a good deal. Being new to Porsches, what questions should I ask about the build, and what kind of PPI Inspector should i get.
Thanks,
John

has lots of potential but would benefit greatly from a composite hood.

after i get my car out from the paint shop on either friday or monday, i can go look at her.

i live about 16 miles away.

Thanks, Odurandina. That would be great if you can. I also have to find out if the car can be made smog-legal for CA Registration. Also, I wanted to note that I would not be ready to buy any car till the end of the year, so if anyone else is interested, go ahead.

It will need to have all the smog-related equipment that came on that year LT1. You'll have to use stock SBC/LT exhaust manifolds or find a set that have been CARB-exempted. You need the right number of cats/O2 sensors and the right MAF. Depending on your referee you might need more stuff too.

12K is a steal. You will have to spend additional money to get it CA smog legal.
