I believe that they will fit, especially the later 944's. The only difference is how the speaker fits. If you're interested and you decide to buy, and for whatever reason they don't work, we can work something out for a return.

I don't think it's possible to fit a 968 window into a 944 frame. The lower edge is horizontal on the 968 and sloped on the 944. This would make the 968 speaker panels sit too low on the insides also. It's my understanding the body window openings are different, maybe I'm wrong. The actual speaker 968 grill section could be added to a 944 panel though or just buy a 944 panel w/ the 10-speaker option.

Either way, I have the panels. They are for a 968 and they are for sale.

damn. this is a swap i've been wanting to do. the glass is definitely different, but if the frame is different too this might save me some blood sweat and tears.

Just for grins, i tried to fit the interior panel in my 1986 944T. It fits. There is no difference in the interior. Yes the window is flush on the outside, but the interior panel fits exactly in place of the 944 panel. Long story short. It Fits.

Maybe.... I'll need to look to see what hatches are there. I'll be up at the warehouse this week. I know that I do not have the 968 wing as I just purchased one for my car.
