Default To the v8 swap experts

Just starting my research so please be patient.
Where is a good place to buy a good LS1 aluminum crate motor with harness.?
Work has been good and looks good for a while .
Anybody know of swap into a Cab ?
Looking for 375 HP .
car is very well sorted suspension wise .
Will be looking to sell the 3.0 liter motor currently in car, has fresh everything and great comp #s ( 200 -205 ) 95000 miles Lindsey fuel lines Dansk ss catback.
I will be using the Texas Performanc products conversion kit .
Thanks Joe

People will shout at me for this but I would hate to see an S2 cab being ruined. Seems like you have a well sorted cab and that engine is barely run in. Swap in an LS1 and right away the value of your car has gone down from its current value and you will have spent an extra $10k for a new crate and the partd to do the conversion correctly.

Not totally against the V8's but it would be cheaper for you to buy a solid 44/51 with a blown engine swap in a low mileage used LS and get your 375hp thrills that way...and still have a great S2 cab for sunny day cruising.

To answer your question though, I think GM Performance Parts can sell you a complete crate with harness and warranty.

Here are a couple of posts by Tony G. that might be helpful
I just bought a brand new Z06 LS6 long block with warranty for $3100!

Rated at 405Hp in a Corvette will make about 410RWHP and about 380RWTQ with my cam/headers/exhaust/tune that I'm using on my current LS1.

the best prices on GM crate engines in the United States are at

Scoggin-Dickey Chevrolet, Lubbock, TX (they also offer CNC services),

and

Crate Engine Depot (a.k.a. Rockenbach Chevrolet), Grayslake, IL
