I think new hood crests are $35 or $40. So I'd guess a used one is 1/2 that??

There was a guy buying used ones to "blackify" them. I think he was paying $10 or $15.

For the models, some ebay searching will help you find a value.

Something to consider, but when I bought a new hood crest for my 931 nose panel, visiting all of the regular sources revealed that the badges were getting pretty expensive and the place I ended up ordering from sent me an email that the new style badges have replaced that old ones like what you have pictured. They are the same size but the colors are a bit different and they are perfectly smooth.

I didn't take the time to research it further and I don't know if the expensive crest (~$100) were due to a limited stock of the old crests, if they are simply the price of the updated new crests or if I was completely misinformed in all of this. If the old style are discontinued then it may end up being worth more to someone who wants an old style.

BB.

I read in classic Porsche magazine that Porsche are going to start making parts for older car again including the crests. Not sure when they will be available or how much they will charge but am hoping it makes them cheaper. I doubt it but you can always hope lol
