Default Preparing Header Panel for Venting

I need to vent my header panel for an intercooler but I was wondering if any of you guys had removed this thing by just drilling out the welds or if it's held on in a way where it must be cut off.

Trust me, I LIVE search

Everything pertaining to this sort of thing just talks about cutting the vents themselves

All you need to do is drill the spot welds

When I did it on my old NA, I cut that stiffener out with a cutting wheel on an angle grinder
