S2 engine value?
I've decided to do an engine swap in my S2 so I need to start by getting rid of some parts. What's the value of an S2 engine with almost 180000 miles on it? Should I leave it in the car so the future owner can see that it actually runs or pull it and put it on a stand?

If you are ready to start the swap, I would just begin pulling it and set it aside on a stand. Just be sure to take care and cover ports and such. You could take a video of it running before you pull it if you are that worried about it.

When was the last leak down performed, results? Rod Bearings ever replaced? How about Cam Tentioner and pads? Depending on the leakdown, the motor may be worth more in parts. Cam's can run $1k as well as the crank. A rebuilt head can sell for $2k. Don't expect to sell this parts overnight and your prices will probably be lower.

That's great to hear, I want to sell it to someone local. I will most likely be pulling it towards the end of August unless I have a buyer lined up that needs it sooner.
