Still looks like ***. Why don't you go all the way and use a piece from an Audi?

Any particular piece? Any Audi? Cause, I have a buddy with a 1983 Quattro rotting in his yard. Like - an axle nut? or maybe an Audi glove box door? Headliner?

It does the job I want it to, and since I got the car without the cover, this was just as cost-effective as other solutions. Sorry you don't care for the fit. My last suggestion - don't buy one.

the moment i saw the thread title, i sensed trouble.

i think it's over-rated to be able to see the belts.

but i also think (whether you like the look or not),

that it's over-rated to have an engine compartment that doesn't look like ***.

btw,

Doc wrenches his Ferrari too. seriously.

and if you're gonna hate, you should at-least, pay the annual subscription fees.

I'd buy one if they were cheaper. Not worth $150 imo.

Yeah, the funny thing is, when the whole mess is together, there's a top cover on the front that obscures the view of the belt and cover. However that top cover with the little glove compartment comes off in about 10 seconds, so it would be useful to see in there. The belts on these cars take quite a circuitous path, and there's a lot of stuff packed in. I noticed that the rollers are pretty much all viewable as well, and I'm concerned about a roller starting to go bad as well.

I agree on the joining to complain comment as well. I don't mind some well aimed critique, but you should at least pony up for the privilege(or be more creative in writing).
