And the result......so far so good. She has run for about 20 mintutes since install hasn't died once. Including a run up the road, about 6 miles total no problems.

That being said, Clarks says a bad FPR can lead to a bad fuel pump, so still plan to buy a new fuel pump and install it next week. They run about $55 on Ebay shipped.

Hopefully this little hick-up helps someone else out down the road.

FWIW did a trip to one of my offices today 130 miles with no worries. Car even seems to run smoother now.

Again thanks to everyone for the help.

Will still swap out fuel pump and flush the tank mounted screen just to be on safe side.

Crazy that an FPR costs as much as a fuel pump...

Congrats on the fix!

I keep an excel file for each of my cars, where I write down the date, mileage, and new parts of every repair. I also record oil changes and stuff like that.
