I do not have access to a welder so that is out, but thanks rob. Im leaning towards either grinding (if i can find one to borrow) or doing the ez out way.

Do not drill, do not grind. Clamp them as tight as you can with vice grips, turn, done. Easy and works every time.

I'm confused as to which bolts are f'd. Are these the axle to trasaxle or is it the transaxle to the rear of the torque tube? If it's the axle bolts i'd drill and use an extractor. When you get replacements go straight to the Stage 8 locking bolts.

snap on bolt extractors (cornwell works too) but get a quality set. Irwin, Kobalt, none of that crap works. Spend the money and you will get out for less as you will not have to buy axles
