When you dig really deep you can find cars that "I" think fit the bill.
Here are a few things I think are must haves to take it out of the "normal" 944 build.
-Widebody!
-Deep, wide wheels.
-non stock paint color, done well.
-extensive lightening
-performance mods, BIG brakes, etc
-NOT A TRACK ONLY CAR! Must retain basic creature comforts, best if tactfully blended into the dash to simplify the appearance.
I'd love to see cars that were dedicated builds, not just bolt on or take off madness.

loyds has a rear carpet replacement, I am thinking about trying it seems to be the same fit as the original but without the spare tire hump

Please post back results. I hate that factory hump. I just keep a small tool bag there. Even after the thick foam is removed, it still feels a little weighty. Does anyone know how much the padding under the front area weighs? I am re-thinking to use the EPDM peel and stick like I did for the rear area and keep the black carpet.

I know how to mount a 1uzfe v8 (toyota/lexus) and I also know how to build a custom bellhousing to put a 928 engine on the 944 Torque tube now. The Toyota V8 will fit as a guy in England is doing it now, but the towers I'm sure would have to be notched to fit that Big Block 928 engine in there.

I'm thinking "In-Law 944"...the rest of the clan isn't sure they want us around but we keep showing up anyway
