Finally decided to do something about my poor old wheels. I used 3 coats of the Black Plasti-dip and 2 coats of the glossifier.
Before and After pics attached.
Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to clean up the outer lip.

He did spring plate, then one notch on the torsion bar. See that one "will these aggressive wheels fit" thread..

Thanks and yes just reindexed the tb's 1 spline and lowered the spring plate eccentric adjustment a bit.

Up front is just a set of Weltmeister lowering springs.
I feel like a sissy saying all of this. It's like the poor mans way of lowering a 944.
Two of my other 944's have full Bilstein coilovers front and rear. Ahh now that felt better

That looks absolutely AMAZING. I am going to be looking for stuff to try and make it look like that now.

love those wheels. can't find them down here. I recently unearthed photo I had taken in Jan 2008 of a 968 wearing a similar 996 wheel

Those are BBS wheels that came on 2000 and 2001 911's (IIRC). I've got some on my track car, they are really light and great looking.

They are similar. Mine are the TR Motorsport Forged in 8.5, 11.5. They did come in varying widths and offsets, so there may be some floating around to fit 924-968 platform.
Either way, $45 in PD cans and a couple hours prep and paint. Let the wheels sit for a couple days to cure...done! Easy clean up with mild soap and a soft bristle brush (I use a Johnny mop!) they also hide brake dust real well....
