Default How to do an Engine Compression test

I have an 86 Turbo that I would like to check. I have the gauge & fittings but can't find instructions on checking the compression on clarks garage or by google search. I understand throttle needs to be Wide open.

Do I just remove DME relay, all spark plugs, and fuel pump fuse? Do I need to unplug fuel injector harness and the coil ground or does the DME relay cover that? Thanks

pull the plugs- pull the dme relay. Crank with tb wide open till gauge hits its highest mark, should be two or three rotations. Record that number. You can also do this test after driving the car considered "hot", or squirt some oil down in there and do it "wet" - i usually do them dry and cold.
