Cool car. I'm sure you'll have her up and driving in no time. Good luck!

I'm guessing you got this at an absolute bargain. Nice little brother to the 968. Hopefully you have the time, money, or skills to bring it up to spec. Nice little cars. Of course you can supercharge them and then....

Welcome to the 968s world,patience-lot's of work & lol money will be needed to bring her back to life but when you do you'll be rewarded with one of the best Porsche ever produce.See you own a 928 GT so your already aware of the 16 V (pads-chain & tensioner which should be look at asp).I would leave it the same color since changing color on any car is a major project both labor money wise. Btw we got a specific 968 forum here on RL just in case your interested.GL with your project.

Yes, put up the info in the 968 forum-ask Jeff to provide you info on your car, he knows how many were made in that color, with those options, etc.

Nice 17"Cup 1's, rare wheels too.

Cobalt is VERY rare on 968's.

And as a 92, does it have a recessed front badge, the different edged rear badge, and it must have the special early underhood trim pieces-check for the gloves in the glove cubby!

Good looking project. Jealous.
If it were mine I would replace the TB and BB even though they are 'new' (sitting for 6 years worries me).
Best of luck!

HiFi sound option, yes, he has it. And headlamp washers. The cobalt color here is the prize.

I'm pretty stoked. I got a rad and a fan for nothing. BTW, here's a link to a clear poly belt cover I just bought. At $75 seems like a screamin deal to me. Love the cobalt blue and the 17s. Eventually, this is going to be a very nice car. I'll see if I can find the 968 forum. Thanks for all the luv in here. Good people.

I stole it. I should be arrested and put in jail for what I paid for this car. Only thing I wish it has was 220, LSD. I can live without it, but it would be a nice perf boost for the 17 wheels.

Haha! I found the plastic cubby with the little glove symbol on it! That is so cool but I don't know where it goes yet. I'm guessing on top front across the rad cause it was in the trunk when I found it. I also found the spoiler, or splitter underneath. How fun.

Mine doesn't have the glove symbol since it's a 93,only the 92 has that feature.Pic will give you an idea where it goes. The spoiler you found is commonly call a " batwing " if you need help just give a yell will send you pics of how it goes on.To get on the 968 forum enter Rennlist Discusion Forums & scroll down it just below the (944 turbo and turbo S forum).
