944s2 cab - electrical problem
#2
did you change the battery properly (key off the ignitiion during changing, terminals are correct)?
any light or power at all?
if no power at all, i would check all fuses, especially those larger one that controls ignition
if you have some power but car wouldn't start (you have some clicking sound but engine won't turn over), you may have a bad starter.

Thanks for the response. Is there a main fuse which controls power from going to throughout the fuse box? I have no lights, no ignition, nothing.
It happened when hood shut and created sparks and arc on the battery posts. All power stopped after that.

Figured it out! Killed the new battery when the hood shut on the battery posts causing battery to arc. Thank goodness I didn't damage the electrical system from what I can tell.
Time to purchase new hood shock absorbers so the hood stays open without holding.
Thanks for the help!
