HELP transaxle coupler removal
I am in the process of a clutch replacement. Of course it all started well with a snapped clutch rod bolt. That is taken care of now. On to the torque tube transaxle coupler. Front bolt tight no problem I cracked it and its out. The rear, no matter how much i put to it, will not budge. Anyone have any ideas.

In no particular order... Great big cheater bar? Backyard impact wrench: put a straight Allen key into the bolt, and then put a box end wrench on the key (the longer the better -- weld up a long one) then smash with hammer (wearing goggles). Use a big impact wrech. Use heat. Use penetrating oil. Drill it out completely (it's 10.9 so enjoy drilling -- use cobalt) but beware you'll need to get the rest of the bolt out still to slide the coupler.

The only issue with cutting is that this bolt rides a cut in the transaxle shaft. I am not sure you could cut with success. It has been soaking all night. Maybe it will give me a fathers day gift and come out. Anyone have a useable coupler if I get to the point of cutting, I may cut the coupler off.

Lots of penetrating oil, dremel cut off wheel. Cut the shank about 2/3 of the width on second try the d@#mn! thing came out. 20 minutes later transx on the Jack on the floor. Thank God for small miracles.
