Default Late NA Exhaust and Catalytic on S?

Does anyone have any experience swapping the exhaust from an NA to an S? Will it work/fit?

Thanks!

the exhaust manifolds are different, and the 8V pipe won't bolt up. The rear exhaust section will, IF you egg out the holes in the front mounting flange...the 16V pipes are about 1/8" larger in diameter.

Assuming you can weld the front of your 16V cat pipe to the 8V cat, you'll be in business.

I have an 8v muffler on my S, but only because someone hacked off the stocker and welded on the worlds worst muffler before i got the car. I took the both sides of the flange for the 8v and had it welded on in lieu of my missing flange. It sounds decent and has a nice rasp to it thats not obnoxious.

+1 on different

Not only are the header flanges different, but, they come in at a different angle.

the 8V muffler IS raspier...I do like it, though. it's not obnoxious at all.
