just bought an 87 turbo for $1500 from some kid in Ma. has alot of new parts do to him trying to get the thing running. i got it home borrowed the klr from my brothers 944 turbo and it fired right up i would like to find some of its history so if you guys know where to start please speak up. its an 87 turbo originally from CT now in Ma and its carfax was clean with a very high score of 64. no degative reports ever... i want to build a fun around 350whp car but dont want to redo work that has already been done. the kid that had it has no real history on it, or so he say. he told me he bought it not running and tried to fix it foe abouy a year. he replaced the starter which still looks new, the wires,plugs,belts,and a few other things. the car is in geat shape. while the intake manifold was off i looked in ther and the valves looked very clean no oil or even carbon on them. if it helps the car has a couple of pca stickers on it. this is my second project after i quit my first do to school and the fact that the car had been involved in to totalled accidents in its past.
