Default I have a significant dead spot at 2k-3k rpms

This has crept up over the past two months. To start out, here are things that have been replaced in the last year. New TPS, newer AFM, all new vacuum hoses. Throttle body rebuilt, new jboot, injectors serviced by witchhunter, new intake manifold gaskets, new fuel filter, new DME temp sensor. There's probably a few other things I'm forgetting.

The TPS is adjusted correctly. This probably only seems to present itself a little after the engine gets warm. I'll hit about 2100 rpms and it just doesn't pull. Once it hits about 3k it really starts to pull hard.

I searched but couldn't find much on the topic. The only conclusions I can come up with are the new TPS is bad, or my ignition system is going bad. I don't know if new plugs, wires and a rotor will change any of this. Since it's only happening in a certain rpm range it makes me think it's a bad electrical signal somewhere in the system. Only I don't know where it would be.

Thoughts?

Try unplugging the O2 sensor, and see how it runs.

I know the AFM is newer, but you may have a dead spot in it right at that range. Clarks garages has a great write-up on it

Thanks, I will try both of those things.

Do you have the dead spot at WOT? If so, then it's not the AFM (unless your TPS is not sensing WOT correctly).

I have not tested that yet

Well I disconnected the O2 sensor yesterday and took it for a drive. It ran fine. Guess I need a new O2 sensor now.

You never described what the issue is clearly.

Dead spot... partial throttle... on WOT? in gear coasting back down/through, is normal? Do you have any other diagnostics (WBO2, fuel pressure, vacuum, etc)?

It's on partial throttle and when under load. No issues at WOT. Sorry, I tested that stuff yesterday but didn't post it. I do not have any other diagnostics.
