Options for a broken timing belt. Fix, sell, junk?

Options for a broken timing belt. Fix, sell, junk?
Hi, Looking for some advice on what to do with my 951 that has a broken timing belt on startup. Don't want to put anymore money into it, but hate idea of junking it. Is it worth anything for parts, or track chassis? It has 142,000 miles on it. Body & interior are fair for a car with this many miles. I assume rebuilding the top end, plus whatever brittle items break getting to it, will be at least $1500? Thanks for your thoughts.

I will send you a used turbo head, wide fire head gasket set, timing belt, balance belt and all the rollers for $750... just an option. I would just need your bent valve turbo head back as a core. Got it all on the shelf. Hit me up tomorrow if you are interested.

pure *****......
its the funnest car ever.
to drive.
not to fix or maintain. you could be out getting laid. instead you're fixing timing belts, broken valves and blown head gaskets and change rod bearings and do valve jobs.
now you can replace all of them all at the same time.
do it. do it all now and you can chase all the more ***** later.

You didn't mention your age, access to tools, mechanical abilities, location, etc.
If age is greater than 45, its more satisfying and less expensive to maintain the 951 than chasing *****. This isn't arguable or a "I can go all night" comment. Just truth.
If you don't have access to tools and some experience, this won't end well.
If you're on the west coast, Lart will be in touch.
If you're on the east coast, Lart will be in touch.
