Inside. This is what you see and feel most when driving the car!

Amen to that. Especially if you want to have a passenger.

thanks for the input guys. I am going to do the inside. Ian the paint is bad and it is the second coat. It is pretty even over most of the body but is peeling down to the original color in some areas. I want to strip it down to the metal and give it a really nice paint job. Its original color was gold but I am leaning to black or maybe a really bright red.

WHo cars what the outside world thinks. You get a 944 for YOU!

Ugly on the outside < Finished and comfy on the inside

If you're doing it right, the only view people should have of your car anyway, is the tail lights.

Work on the driver interface. This will keep you sane to the point you can finish the inside and get to the outside. Screw what other people think (being an old car, there are probably low expectations anyway).

After you do the interior ,when you do get to the outside if you change the color do it right. Either you take the engine out and paint the engine bay in the same color or leave the whole thing original. It just looks wrong with the engine bay in another color ,even black.

I agree, plus the door jambs and sills will be a different color.

I vote leave it gold. It will be cheaper and it looks great with the right wheels.

......and the entire underside of the car, inside fender wells, etc. Not really cars you want to change to color on unless you have a bare tub on a rotary stand.

here is the problem. The original color was gold but, now its cough.....cough...... choke...... Purple. I want to kick the *** of the previous owner every time i see it. lol. I cant leave it purple. This is why i am repainting the whole care and why I am doing the inside first. I actually like the gold color and wish it still was.
