Pics look like they were taking with a polaroid in 1972 and scanned

Also took out the "S2" and dropped the price to $6,500.

Getting closer to a real ad, but still some flaws.

I honestly love craigslist ads with poor photography. Keeps the competition away.

I won't blame someone for only having a camera phone or not having the skills to take a great pic.

But having completely wrong or misleading information about something they own is unacceptable.

Agreed. But confusing a V6 from a straight 6 is an acceptable mistake to me for the common owner.

Claiming 400hp out of something that is obviously not is another topic.

speaking of bimmerworld, a guy in a bar once bet me 100 bucks that BMW stood for British Motor Works (sad but true story). i told him i didn't want to take his money but i'd bet him 50 if he promised to pay up. he did agree right in front of a couple of girls (no guy friends were there to advise against taking the bet)... but didn't like losing. even more embarrassing when some of the chicks standing next to him in the bar recognized 'Bavarian' as the correct answer. wtf.

The new revised ad is a lot better but I would still like to know what the benefit is of running an S2 chip in an 8 valve. Also what is a "megan ecu computer" and a "Pro 80" chip? If the car is really running Motec that would be impressive - stand alone on an NA?

At the risk of taking an off topic thread even farther off topic.......

I once had the owner of the company I worked for tell me BMW stood for Bulgarian Motor Works. I don't know which was dumber, him saying that, or me laughing at him when he did.

Coincidentally, I don't work there any more..
