Default A/C hose...need replaced..TSB

I need to replace one of my a/c hoses..the one from condensor to receiver drier with the 2 sensors on it..they don't make the hose with the 2 sensor ports on it anymore ..and it was a whopping $271..now they just make the hose with only 1 sensor..like on later models..only has 1 sensor (combined high / low switch )...So does anyone have access to porsche technical service bulletins and see if there anything on this hose and the sensor wiring...auto atlanta sells the new hose for like $20 instead of $221 from Porsche... it is hose #9 on PET diagram

I replaced the 2 sensor hose with a dual 1 sensor a few years back. Nothing difficult, fits the same and iirc the revised wiring was simple to follow.

btw I got a genuine part from Sunset, I wouldn't use Auto Atlanta even if they were giving them away.

+1, almost always cheaper and you know it will fit.

If it's from Auto Atlanta, it will be a used hose and more than likely be the wrong part and/or broken.

Rebuild your old one or buy a used one. Several members and vendors have used parts. I'd check with Josh B, Lart, Rennbay and 944online. I've had great experiences with all of them.

I had to go the other direction with my '87. Mine had the two-sensor line in it, but when I bought a new engine bay harness, it only had the connector for the single sensor. Since I wasn't going to cut up a new harness, I bought a used line from Travis at Rennbay. If I still had the old one, I'd let you just have it. Unfortunately, I threw it away when I was going through the parts pile.
