How high should the system be pressurized to with the tester? 15psi?

Just got it back this afternoon! And lucked out. The aux coolant pump, which I knew was getting noisy and leaky from having the PPI done on the car last September, gave up the ghost and took the aux thermostat along with it. Both of those replaced along with some connectors, 2 new coolant hoses on the pump, flush and fresh coolant, and it runs without breaking a sweat now. Even sitting in my garage for 15 minutes idling. Awesome. Just in time for another gripping Texas summer.

Made out with labor at $882... and actually feel pretty lucky. I'm going to leave my leaky oil pan gasket as-is after being quoted 15-hrs. labor. My 30-year pro indy tech says he's only done 2 of them before and... that's all he said. His face numbed over and he only started speaking again after a couple minutes. I think I'm cool with just a big pan and adding a quart in every month...

Forgot to mention that included an oil change as well. Still, not cheap, but glad it wasn't a four-figure bill.

Very helpful thread. Today I tried to stop a leak from the radiator at the overflow hose nipple and broke that thing right off snugging it down. I guess it was already cracked. I better take a look at that drain plug too I guess.
