I bought one of these RMS ( rear main seal ) install tools on a whim a few months ago (price was right!), figure i put it too some use and rent it out to those who may need it.

This is tool P234 for installing the RMS on 944, 951 and 968. Cost new is about $130 and is likely a tool you will use once, then never touch again. I borrowed one a few years ago when i did my clutch and everything installed easily... no messing around with a PVC cap.

Using this tool with the Elring RMS i think gives you the best chance of having the seal install correctly and not leak. RMS replacement is not something you want to do twice.

Rental fee is $20 to cover my shipping expense, it will be sent out USPS which is basically 3-day air anywhere in the US. You must leave a $120 deposit on the tool before i send it out to cover my cost in the event i never get it back or you some how manage to break or damage the tool. When i get it back, i will refund you $100.
