This.

Major props for what it is, but hopefully he'll take something closer to $5k. I'd only really laugh at this if it were Richard Hammond's boy-racer 924 with flames and ratty interior for the asking, not a minty OE 1-owner example.

perhaps we should all start adding to our asking price....and keep the selling price a secret. In a couple of years we might be able to nudge up the perceived value of our cars LOL

I do wonder what effect it would have if every owner on rennlist placed high priced (blue book or above) "for sale" ads all over craigslist and any other free classifieds (despite having no intention to actually sell).........

Banding together to hold our cars hostage on the market to artificially drive up their actual worth? I like your style.

Errbutwait... this is also why I hate organized unions.

And, coincidentally, why big businesses need to be watched like hawks, treated with suspicion and smacked down hard and often...

Yeah, that's how we should treat our employers and job creators to a fault. Enjoy your government cheese.

Moving along...

Soon, soon our cars will command a price, lol!

Look at the 914, the red headed stepchild. Dogged, loathed, even hated. Now on covers of magazines like the Pano, lol!

And, that guys price is nuts. More nuts? We had a 17k 914 shell for sale here in town, LOL!!

Our local PCA vice president posted the link on our facebook page also.
So you called the guy up just to insult him and his car?? Pretty childish IMO.
I don't blame the guy for throwing out an optimistic (alas very in this case) price. Pristine 924s are a dying breed and not getting any younger; only a matter of time before they go the way of 914s.
