Lol, you want the "secret sauce"?

-Rubber caster blocks (I think they're 968 ones)
-Aluminum control arms
-Adjustable camber plates
-Bilstein Firehawk struts
-400 lb springs
-Adjustable front sway bar
-Manual steering
-Rubber bushings in the rear
-Torsion bars
-Bilstein shocks
-Factory rear sway bar (actually disconnected)

I love the color! Have you considered switching to the number 01, and maybe putting some kind of decoration on the roof. Something like this perhaps?

Van, have you considered changing to steel arms in the front?

Forget the weight, the added aerodynamic benefits of no door handle recesses must add at least 50 mph to the top end speed. They'll require he mount a 5-ft piece of plywood laterally and vertically to the roof to compensate!

Take care!

It's an '86, so it has the late dash (the bottom half of the dash has been cut off).

No, I haven't really...

It's funny, removing the door mirrors is totally legal in the class... if you're looking for an aerodynamic advantage!

Anyhow, in case people haven't seen it, here's some video footage from my first race. Watkins Glen next week, baby!

86 are early offsets. 87+ late offset. (at least for turbos, I assume same goes for NAs...)

Correct. '86 is an early offset car. '87 is the offset change to accommodate wheel speed sensors at the hubs for the [optional] ABS system.

'85.5 was the big redesign that included the new interior and aluminum suspension arms.
