Default Front reseal? Balance shaft seal removal?

Hello. First time doing this on my 951... I've got it mostly apart now. I just need to get the seals out and wait for the rest of the new ones to arrive in the next few days. I haven't seen any write up on this for every seal. The seals I'm wondering about are for the balance shafts... before I start prying on stuff. What's the order to removing them? Is it a seal, collar/sleeve, o-ring, thin clear seal? Do I just pry out the front seal then pull the collar out? I just don't want to screw anything up... Thanks

I normally push them out from the back with a socket and some gentile mallet taps.

So I have to pull the front bearing to replace the sleeve and seals?

Just pull the front housing and push the seal out from the inside back with a socket. Remember that the upper and lower ones have different seals. They look identical so don't mix them up. Look at the write-up on Clarks Garage.

Hi,

sure, it is much better to remove the radiator fans. It is not much work and you have much more space for the pullers and other tools.

Best regards,

Jürgen
