It was surprisingly not rainey. We went there, prepared for chilly, wet weather and I ended up getting too hot in the sun. I felt like the number of vendors was also bigger but it may have just been the layout or my failing memory.
But, as far as I'm concerned, it was a smashing hit because I got my 931 vented nose panel with vents for $125.

There was one guy parting out a black 931 so I ran over there. People were asking for the panel all day but since it had to be cut off no one as able to get it. I decided, instead, to simply buy the vents instead since they are the really hard to find parts. I figured that, if nothing else, I might be able to find a cheap 944 panel for a couple bucks and cut it up and, failing that, I'd just get a fiberglass aftermarket one. I got those for $50.
I then found a loose panel in the front left corner of the vendors (if looking at them from the parking lot) that was buried under some stuff. They wanted $100, I offered $75 and they accepted. It needs to be stripped, de-rusted and repainted but, aside from a few minor dings that I can work it, it is pretty straight. It'll make a good summer project for me.

Ah, sneaky sneaky. I saw the black 931 as well, but didn't even bother asking since I knew it was near impossible to get it off withe the tools on hand (none). Good thinking on the vents though.
I scored some script seats and half the spacers I need, so it was a good day for me as well.
Anyone know if the GT2 RS in the "for sale" lot was actually for sale? Or was he just trying to show off?

I saw a self styled vented nose with round holes and mesh. Picked up that set of late 16" phone dials for $200 and a pair of big brake adapters for $80. I couldn't find much else for a good price, or wasn't total used up or date expired. I still have an 86 turbo front brake setup for sale if anyone is interested.

Frack, that was awesome! That was definitely the biggest show in the three years I've been attending.
