If its a "G" ( year type identification letter within vin number) then its a 1986 year type , the reason this is important is that the 1986 year type be it" NA" or Turbo( 951) were the last to have the early type wheel offsets .

For the 1986 NA the offsets Front & Back are 23.3mm ( dished wheels) and the standard wheels on these were the telephone style 7J X 15 ( Fuchs forged wheels were an expensive option with same offsets but in 16"dia )

For the 1987 year type the suspension arms were lengthened ( change in track) meaning this was the beginning of late offsets ( meaning wheels are not dished )
