Ordered a part from Porsche which had to come from a more Northerly Porsche dealer who seems to have parts for 944's as well. I was distracted and in a hurry so when I got home I realized they had charged me nearly 50 bucks for a $4 part. I was upset and can't see how they can keep customers with parts mark-ups like this.

I actually called the local dealership today and they reviewed the invoice and agreed that they had made a mistake and are adjusting my bill accordingly. Expensive but reputable, these guys. Ok, now back under the car

Got the tranny seals in, Redline MT-90 poured in and it took around 2.7 litres to bring it up level with the fill hole. Tranny's now in the car and tomorrow the shifter linkage and the exhaust system goes in. Almost done.
