Thanks for that info... So basically if you wanna run 11s in the rear, you gotta do some work.

butters if they are a steal get them and sell them here for a little profit. If you like them (if your taste isnt too out there) im sure others would. Use that profit to buy something that makes sense or, fix your AC, or anything else on your vehicle that needs attention. I would wait on the wheels since wheel are more or less a finishing touch and you got primer on parts of your car.

How much can a great (maybe a tiny blemish or two) set of sport technos be worth? For example, if I were to put, them for sale, would somebody buy them for $1000? $500? $200?

I just helped a guy out with the same issue (18 x 11). I actually passed him off to the guy at adaptec speedware and they got him fitted with spacers on his 84. I believe cost for custom spacers was around $500 ish for all 4. Let me dig up a pic of them on the car.

BTW, for valuation sake, picked these up for $650 a while back because there was little interest in them for some reason. Still one of my favorite wheel designs. Happily sitting on my shelf.

So, hypothetically, if I told somebody I could get a set, in better shape than above link, shipped to their door for $650 total, there would maybe be interest?

Note that the offset is different right to left in the rear because the torsion bar carrier is offset ~1/2 " more to the outside on the drivers side. Its only an issue if you're really filling the wheel well.

Thread here.

Not considering putting ther on my car anymore.

Price of tires along with pain in fitting means no go. If this were the future, I had another car while I mess with my 944, and maybe putting them on a turbo car, then...
