it is on the cabin harness, below the steering column, just next to spare connections for balupunkt berlin radio and amp, 2 pin female, wire colors red and green. i have no idea where it goes to. appreciate your help here.

looks like it would go to a switch i dont own a 951 so i dont know what type of swtichs are in the cabin someone here will know its just a matter of time.

2 pins? it looks like the one that connects near the ignition switch and displays on the instrument cluster what gear your in.

what gear i'm in? hmmm, i have manual gerabox, unless car is prewired for automatic as well. in general i can see now that wire harness is the same across all 85.5 944 family, regardless of the equipment version.

looks like i'm spreading around wrong info... sorry... so for year 88 there are 4 different cabin harnesses, depending on the equipment. i should really check it before.

anyway, i'm still looking for this plug destination, it's definitely not the a/t indicator.
